Belajar dari Ibrahim

DI tengah kerinduan akan nuansa ketakwaan dan ketenangan dalam mahabbatullah, saya menemui sebuah penggalan nasyid Snada yang begitu bagus, berjudul Belajar dari Ibrahim :

Belajar dari Ibrahim, belajar taqwa kepada Allah

Belajar dari Ibrahim, belajar untuk mencintai Allah

Ya Allah, karuniakan kepada hamba kekuatan untuk bisa mencintaiMu

dengan jujur dan sebenar-benarnya, dan mencintai setiap anugerah

dariMu dengan kecintaan yang tidak melenakan, namun dengan kecintaan

yang akan semakin meningkatkan kecintaanku padaMu. Amin.

Accidentally Beautiful

Unintentionally colors came from an accident incident when I tried to pull off the filter from a halogen lamp in Gobo reflector. The filter was slipped from my hand, then it fell down in the armature at a slant angle. Then voila! Suddenly these colors showed up.

Well actually the filter color is blue. And the halogen lamp color is yellow or 3000 Kelvin. So it's kinda surprise when we see the purple as a mix of those two colors.

Anyway, it's just nice. Not everything nice should be happened by a plan, right? It's often found that a great idea just went from an unintentionally incident that became a start of inspiration. That's what we call, original!

The G-Lamp

This special custom made lamp is a gift from me and Rara to our friend - Gita. It can be use as a decorative side lamp or table lamp. Made by multiplex with dark brown duco doff finishing, ten ellipsoidal incandescent 5 watts lamps with serial electrical installation, and ten bulb fittings.

The square form of wood box was designed to represent a birthday cake. And the lamps installed as the candles. The bulbs were arranged intentionally to make a G letter - according to her nick name.

Dedicated to her big passion in lighting design, so we named it "The G-Lamp".
